Hi Jeffery, yes a wonderful Scripture that shows in Christ Jesus we can live righteously and be perfected in Love as confirmed in the Scripture below.

1 John 3:1-11 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.

    Christian Love Anne

A scripture we need to meditate on until the reality hits home. Thanks for posting.

What an amazing message Paul proclaimed with this verse, Jeffrey. (Which, by the way, is one of my favorites) With this one verse, we see Jesus taking our sin upon Himself, while clothing us in the raiment of His righteousness. What a trade! Praise be to God for His indescribable gift.God bless you my friend.

Sorry Jeffery I noticed later that I only posted the Scripture that confirmed if we have Christ’s righteousness we also will do what is righteous, how can it be any other way but I didn’t post the Scripture that talks about being perfected in Love of course like righteousness there is a lot but I feel this Scripture below confirms it well.

1 John 2:4-6 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the Love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.

Thanks Jeffery, I will be more watchful in future – Kind regard Anne.
